The Thracian tomb replica in the Museum Center "Thracian Art in the Eastern Rhodopes" near the village of Alexandrovo hosted an International Scientific Conference on the topic of "Teaching Museum – functions and strategies."

The conference was implemented under the project "Le musйe est mort? Vive le musйe!" ("The museum is dead? Long live the museum!") of the Open Bulgarian University - Sofia, together with the Regional Museum of History - Haskovo.

The project is financed by the Scientific Research Fund with the Ministry of Education and Science in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Reports delivered at the conference are published in a special volume: "Principles of the museum and education network. Teaching Museum – functions and strategies," Publishing House "Zahari Stoyanov", Sofia, 2010.
